Selection process 

The selection process will be consist in the different stages to confirm the recruitment eligible and qualified candidates. The selection stages include - 

1. Preliminary and Written Examination 

2. Pshycial Standard Measurement Test

3. Document Verification 

Preliminary Examination

If the number of valid applications is more than 9000(Nine thousand), a Preliminary
Examination shall be conducted which will be Multiple Choice questions (MCQ) either
through OMR Mode or CBRE Mode. Details about the type of questions, mode of examination, duration of the examination, number of questions for the Preliminary Examination will be shared in due course on the website through Notice. 

Written Examination Of OSSC Traffic Constable Recruitment 2024

Candidates numbering 20 times of the vacancies advertised (Post Wise & Category-wise) shall be shortlisted for Written Examination based on the marks secured in the Preliminary Examination. The Written Examination shall be of 85 marks which shall consist of questions in Odia language, English language, Arithmetic. General Knowledge, etc, of +2 standard.

Candidates after qualifying CBT will be go through PET, which includes pshycial tasks like Running, Height, weight,chest. PMT ensures that candidates faces the following pshycial Standards
